Synopsis
In a quiet rural town in the outskirts of the Philippines, an impoverished young man dreaming of a better life finds himself ensnared by the Batibat during his sleep, causing him to enter a deceptive dream of comfort and wonder that slowly turns into a calming nightmare in which he may never wake up again— nor the rest of the town.
